Bring your chichilaki (Georgian Christmas Tree) to LOKAL on Epiphany and we’ll burn them together.
The Georgian Chichilaki is a tree of luck and is burnt (on the day before the Georgian Orthodox Epiphany, on January 19) as a symbol of leaving out the previous year’s troubles and misfortunes.
We’ll start the burning around 9PM, but please join us prior to get in the mood, play a boardgame, or just hang out with our family and community.
