LOKAL has developed a set of Health and Safety Standards that will ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable when using our facilities.

Our number one priority is to make LOKAL a safe and healthy living, and working environment for all of our members. With that being said, a few changes to the way we are all used to working at LOKAL had to be made.

We will continue with the described cleaning procedures and request that members continue to exercise general health and safety awareness.

Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.
If you don’t have a tissue, sneeze/cough into your sleeve or arm.
Stay at home if you are sick or someone in your household is sick. If you or someone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please stay away for the CDC recommended time of 14 days.
Maintain a distance of 6 ft. from other members as best as you can.
Comply with all check-in processes. (These are subject to change based on government legislations.)

We have arranged seating and set up to help maximize use while maintaining social distancing guidelines. Please do not move or rearrange furniture.
Biocide mats have been placed at the entry. Please step onto the mat upon entering LOKAL.
All Members will be temperature scanned on entry. If temperature is above 38 celsius, you will be asked to leave.
LOKAL staff will clean and sanitize each workspace after member use.
Please limit your movement within the space by using one workspace for the duration of your day.
While using shared spaces, please wear a face covering or mask that covers the nose and mouth.

Conference rooms are only available if booked in advance until further notice.
Please follow new capacity guidelines when booking and using the conference rooms.
A buffer time between conference room bookings has been implemented so that LOKAL staff can clean and sanitize the room between use.
All conference rooms will be available for full day rental as private office space.
If you are booking a meeting and bringing outside (non-member) guests; it is your responsibility to ensure that all government regulations and LOKAL health and safety standards are met / adhered to.

If any member feels sick and especially if they display symptoms of fever, cough, and shortness of breath, we ask that you do not come in to work at LOKAL. We encourage all members to follow CDC Guidelines if you are sick.

If a member tests positive for Covid-19 and has been present at LOKAL during any of the 7 days prior to testing, you are required to notify LOKAL via email or WhatsApp so that we can take the necessary measures to perform extra cleaning and disinfecting.

LOKAL will not share the names of any members who test positive.
LOKAL will close for 48 hours after notification of a member testing positive in order to allow staff to clean and disinfect the space, according to the CDC guidelines after which we will reopen.
We will notify all members should this occur.

Depending on the de-escalation phase, LOKAL will allow events with the capacity indicated in each phase.
Windows in the common spaces will be opened in order to provide additional ventilation.
Constant cleaning of frequently used surfaces and communal spaces with virucidal products.
Placement of disposable towels in bathroom and kitchen.
Daily sterilization cycle on all dishes.
A cleaning log will be posted in the public spaces and bathrooms for transparency and your peace of mind!

We will continue to monitor any developments and will update these guidelines and procedures as needed. We will communicate any changes to members.
