“Red Friday” Masterclass

Hop on over and join us for a cracking good time at our Red Friday Masterclass. We’re dyeing to see you there as we celebrate the holiday in true Georgian fashion.
This class is not suited for children – 18+ only, so leave your little chicks at home. For just 20 GEL, you’ll get access to a discussion, hands-on demonstration, and all the supplies you need to learn the traditional method of preparing coloured Easter eggs.
In the “Red Friday” Masterclass, we’ll be diving into the history of why every household dyes eggs red before sunset in preparation for Easter. Using madder roots or red onion peels, we’ll show you how to boil and dye the eggs to achieve the iconic red color. Eggs are believed to symbolize the rebirth of Christ and eternal life.
This is a hands-on experience, so come ready to get your hands dirty and learn step by step. You’ll take home six coloured eggs that you prepared yourself using the traditional method.
